Haul Time and First Impressions!

I've missed blogging! It's an absolutely miserable day out that I don't think I am even going to venture outside which means it's a perfect opportunity for me to share with you some new beauty buys!

Caudalie Nourishing Body Lotion, Melvita Fresh Cleansing Milk, Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

The Caudalie lotion is light and has a refreshing scent. It would be perfect in the summer, but right now in rainy London the smell conjures up images of warmer weather!
I have yet to try the cleansing milk and balm - I had read a lot of great reviews about the Clinique balm so I'm hoping I love it!
Buxom Plumping Lip Polish in Tonya

This is supposed to be plumping but I didn't notice any difference. It is quite minty feeling and that tingle does last for an hour or so. This colour is a sheer fuschia and while it is a bit sticky I feel that helps with the lasting power.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment.

Tried and Tested. I love this balm, I had to re-purchase as soon as I was out.

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Baby Bare

This was so much better than I thought it was going to be. However, the colour (which supposedly adapts to your pH) is much brighter than I thought. This balm goes on smooth and gloss and once it wears off a stain remains on the lips.

Let me know if you are interested in any reviews!

Lanvin Love!

Lanvin Amalia Pouch Bag

I love how chic it looks when you carry a clutch during the day. This Lanvin bag that I got as a birthday present last year from one of my best friends transitions perfectly between day and night. LOVE!

Do you carry hand held bags during the day? What are you loving right now?

Can you spot Latte hiding in the bush? LOL I took this picture of her yesterday while she was watching some birds. :)

REVIEW: Burt's Bees Body Lotion

Burt's Bees Cocoa & Cupuacu and Milk & Honey Body Lotion

The more I use Burt's Bees products the more I realise how much I really like them. These body lotions are no exception. I like my lotions to be moisturising without feeling thick and heavy on my skin and these do exactly that. The Cocoa & Cupuacu version is supposed to be a slightly heavier version and while I do think it may be a 'tiny' bit richer I don't think there is much of a difference between them. One of the reasons I am drawn to Burt's Bees products is because when I go through the ingredients list I actually am able to identify the majority of things in them!

My only main complaint is that the Milk and Honey version smells nothing like milk or honey - to me it smells quite minty, it's an odd smell but not unpleasant.

I have just ran out of the Cocoa & Cupuacu tube and the Milk and Honey is on it's way out too. I will definitely look into repurchasing them or trying out some other scents!

You can find out more about these body lotions here and here!

What are your favourite body lotions? Do you like Burt's Bees products?

Skincare Products I'm Loving Right Now

My skin has been really good lately, and I have it down to the products I have started using. I have never been one for complicated skincare routines filled with tons of products. I have combination dry sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I use.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating 2-in-1 wash/mask
I initially used this as a mask every now and then, but recently decided to start incorporating it as a face wash every other day. I couldn't use this everyday as it would probably dry out my skin but using it every other day is perfect (I alternate with Clarins). This wash contains salicylic acid which works great for any breakouts as it helps renew skin cells - meaning my skin is left looking smooth and bright.

Vichy Nutrilogie 1 Face Cream
I am very picky when it comes to moisturisers, my cheeks tend to be on the dry side so I need something that will keep those areas hydrated but I hate heavy/ greasy feeling creams that don't sink into the skin. This checks all the boxes, is a great base for makeup and since I have started using it I have had ZERO dryness!

Lush Breath Of Fresh Air Skin Toner
I have never really been an avid toner user, many toners dry my skin out badly (as they contain a lot of alcohol) and the step just seems tedious with not much result. However, I love this toner! Breath of Fresh Air contains rose and aloe vera to soothe the skin as well as sea water to cleanse.

Bioderma Solution Micellaire
I use this every night to remove my makeup because its gentle yet incredibly effective at removing all traces of makeup. Best of all it leaves no residue and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry.
